National Cadet League Day 4

This season Blitz Table Tennis Club entered 2 teams into The National Cadet League at Ackworth Table Tennis Club. With a nervous start to the competition our players soon came out fighting and some great matches were played over the four weekends.

Players representing Blitz Table Tennis Club were:

Blitz A

Micah Smith, Will Short, Josh Taylor

Blitz B

Martha Wild, Harry Hollingsworth, David Melling

After the 4 weekends of play and some close matches the final finishing positions of our teams were: Blitz A finished 4th in Division One of the NCL. Blitz B finished 2nd in Division two of the NCL.

The National Cadet League has been a great experience with all of our players coming away having learnt lots to carry forward into their training and future matches.

Monday 16th May was the 3rd night of Blitz Table Tennis Club Championships. Being played was the Draw Doubles event. 14 players entered and were drawn out at random to create 7 pairings.
