We are pleased and proud to launch our brand new table tennis club website. Having spent a lot of time over the last 18 months doing things behind the scenes to reshape and remodel the club, our a new look website has been one of them. The process began back in November, where we went through a tender process, before seeking the services of Chris at Web Studios. We felt that he understood our vision for the website and was keen to help us, working together to achieve it.
Having done lots of research and brainstorming plenty of ideas, we guided Chris through different websites which we like the look of, and explored the functionality we wanted from the new site. He then went away to start work on the design process, using our existing kit, media and social media as a base, to develop and build a website for us, based on our discussions. After a short while he came back with a base concept design, which we were really pleased with. We liked the animations and transitions, and particularly liked those of larger screen devices.
In May we followed up with a club photoshoot to capture some more up to date images, then started to very lengthy task of writing the new text for the website. Chris then populated the design, before showing us the final draft. After a few tweaks here and there, a few more ideas added in, we were finally ready to launch the website, and here we are. We feel the new website provides us a perfect base to build upon, and look forward to continuing to work with Web Studios to further expand the site with new features, new functionality and interesting content.
Please feel free to have a good look around the website, as there are lots of new features that all of our members and future members can make use of. We hope that you will be just as proud of it as we are, and you are therefore happy to pass on our details to potential players for the future. Both Paul and Amy look forward to hearing your feedback in training sessions, and we welcome ideas and ways in which we can make it even better for you.
