Round 1 of the day saw the two teams draw their first matches. With Blitz A in a strong Division 2 having only just managed to avoid relegation last time, they faced a strong Rougham TTC. Steven Johnson getting the A team off to a flyer with an outstanding 3-1 win over Sussex county player Max Boulter, which he then backed up with his second win of the day against Adam Reeve. Jacob Marshall sealed the draw with a good first win against Adam Reeve also 3-0. Blitz B also drew 3-3 with Draycott C, who have strengthened their squad from previous days. Reece Simpson, Laurence Sobieraj and Jack Senescall all winning one each with Jack’s 3-1 win over Naphat Boonyaprapa being the highlight. Both teams carried on their form into the next round where they both remained undefeated. Blitz B securing a good 4-2 win over Westfield B, with Laurence Sobieraj winning his two matches. Blitz A recorded their second draw of the day against Bedford Modern again with Steven Johnson picking up his two and Jacob Marshall picking up one. Reece Simpson finished off a Werrington team in Round 3 with the final score line 4-2 to Blitz B. Laurence Sobieraj and Jack Senescall again both picking up one each. Blitz A came up against a tough Knighton Park team who had been relegated from the top division the previous day. If a few of the close results had gone their way it might have been a different story but with all three lads being extremely unlucky at the finishing line the team went down 5-1. Jacob Marshall being the only one to record a win. Round 4 looked slightly different for both teams as they both remained undefeated again in this round. Blitz B recording an excellent 5-1 win over Bedford Modern, with Jack Senescall being the only one to drop a match. Blitz A coming off the back of their first defeat secured a decent 3-3 draw against newly promoted Westfield A, but things could have been so much different with Karl Wynne and Jacob Marshall missing out in the 5th end again.  The day finished on a high for both teams, as Blitz B pulled out a fantastic win over county Rivals Ancaster Falcons. Laurence Sobieraj recorded a well fought 3-2 win over Marius Popa, but with Reece just missing out to James Hiley 3-2 also, everything was to play for. Reece then had to play Marius, with the worst outcome resulting in a draw for the team. Reece dug deep and thrashed Marius 3-0 in a pulsating match, which left the team lying at the top of the table with everything to play for going into the final days play on 3rd March. Blitz A went on to record their first win of the day, with both Jacob and Steven recording two wins each and Karl Wynne chipping in with one. This left the team with one win, three draws and a loss to their name.
